It has been a long time! (~_~;)

 ごめんなさい! ¡Lo siento!
죄송합니다! Sorry!

You may (or may not) remember that I said Hubs purchased a tea of the month subscription from Teavana as a birthday gift to me.
Well, I received my first batch of tea in June but I was on vacation so I couldn’t try the tea until we returned.
It is now the end of July and I am finally going to talk about my experience.
Oh, you may notice the setting for my tea is different. We moved recently and I am still searching for the perfect spot. This is just a trial run.
So without further adieu…

Today’s Tea:

Yumberry Wulong by Teavana.

This is a flavored oolong tea. It is Chun Ya oolong with bits of various fruits. (I will post a photo of the un-brewed tea.)

Let me be honest… this is not my favorite. I am not the world’s biggest fan of fruity teas. But I *am* a huge fan of green tea which is why Hubs purchased the green tea monthly option.
I can barely taste the flavor of the oolong because it is being overpowered by all the fruit. Also, there is quite a small amount of actual oolong in this blend if you ask me.
One thing I *do* like is that it is pink. It looks great in a cup/mug with a white interior. Very pretty!
Other than that, I have to say it just isn’t my cup of tea. Perhaps a tea drinker with milder tastes would enjoy this. The reason I love green tea is the distinct, usually grassy/seaweed-like flavor. This particular brew just tastes like an herbal fruit “tea”. There is nothing wrong with that at all, but I was looking forward to a green tea with a hint of fruit. Instead, I got fruit tea with a hint if oolong.

Sill, the tea itself isn’t bad. The quality is nice, the color is lovely and the scent is very bright and delicate. It simply doesn’t suit my tastes. Now I have to figure out what to do with the unopened 2oz bag I have left.
Re-gift!
